"The video Something to Tell about HIV/AIDS in the Polish context is very valuable, first and foremost as a moving human document about the horrible decay and degradation of young people due to injecting drug use and the bereavement of their relatives.

It also depicts the cruel discrimination of people living with HIV/AIDS commonplace in most societies, may it be Poland, India or South Africa. Fortunately, the film also conveys courage and compassion.

I believe that the video can be a useful instrument for information, for instance in school education, particularly if presented and discussed by young compassionate role models, whom young people can identify with and who can convey a glimmer of hope.

Therefore, I am recommending this film to be used in preventive programmes directed to young people. Fifty per cent of the 15,000 people being infected every day in the world are between 15-24 years of age. In Eastern Europe injecting drug use is the dominating mode of transmission of HIV."

"I hope the film reaches as many people as possible, to make them sit up and think how dangerous it is."

"I think this is a good film to show in schools as a warning example of how easy it is to get hooked."
